Pulling all Audio out of iTunes

  1. select the Library
  2. File->New Smart Playlist->Files in kJams but no Audio (will look in iTunes)
  3. if a new playlist is created, click it, else skip to step 9
  4. with the new playlist selected, go Edit->Special->Pre-Fetch all paths from iTunes...
  5. go have coffe or hang out at your local Genius Bar while you wait
  6. delete that new playlist. Repeat steps 1-2
  7. if there IS a second new playlist created, these are songs that somehow were not found in iTunes, and cannot be found. There's probably a bug here, you should report this to me. Be aware that these files will not play, you may as well delete them.
  8. select the Library
  9. File->New Smart Playlist->Files in iTunes Music Library (that's *eye* toons)
  10. if a new playlist is created, click it, else skip to step 13
  11. with the new playlist selected, go Edit->Special->Pull all Audio out of iTunes...
  12. you've just copied the files from iTunes into the kJams folder, and all the songs in your Library now reference the files in the kJams folder.
