A "manual" rotation is one in which you simply choose to use a regular "Playlist" as your rotation. You can assign a singer to any song, and you are free to arrange the rotation in any way you wish:

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • multiple songs per singer
  • insert yourself in a few places
  • insert "ShowScreen Songs" into the cue
  • filler music that has no singer
  • Total control over the your rotation playlist

Cons:

  • new singer songs are added to the end of the playlist in whatever order they come in (not automatic interleave)
  • broken: (to be fixed)
    • singers deleting songs from wtkJams or web
    • wtkJams view of the Rotation (empty)
    • to investigate: switchable songs (this may not be possible)

How To

  • Pick or make a new Playlist
  • Name it something you'll remember, like "Manual Rotation"
  • Context Click it and pick "Playlist is used for Manual Rotation"
