IChat/Chrome

Chrome Remote Desktop is great, secure, and easy to set up.

1. install chrome
2. run it
3. i pick "google" as my search engine
4. Now switch into Chrome and paste this URL in: https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Remote/Chrome

Now you're using Chrome, continue with the installation:

1. click here to get to the App page Remote Desktop App
2. if that doesn't work do these sub-steps:
   1. Click Here
   2. then search for "chrome remote desktop" INCLUDING the quotes
      
   3. click the app
      
3. click "Add to Chrome"
   
4. it may ask you to Sign In, if so, follow these sub-steps:
   1. Sign in to google if you need to
      
   2. go to step 3
5. google will ask if you really want to install the plugin, click "install":
   
6. you'll now have a new App. Click it.
   
7. it will ask you to authorize the remote desktop app, click "Continue"
   
8. it will ask if you are totally serious about this, click "Allow access"
   
9. now you're ready, click "Share This Computer"
   
10. it will initiate a code generation
    
11. it then show you the generated code
    
12. copy that code (command-C), and paste it into an email to me (or the chat if we're chatting), and send it
