Downloads/Rogues
The links below may or may not work at any given time: if i've recently directed you here, and you click a link and get a 404 (file not found), that probably means i've since made an official release, which you can get from the main downloads page.
“Rogue” builds are ones i make between releases, that may be incomplete, or are intended to get a feature request or critical bug fix out to a select customer.

Special instructions for Mac
When using a rogue, DELETE the previous version of the application (drag to trash, empty trash), then download the rogue, unzip it, and place it in your Applications folder. Don't forget to trash the zip file afterward.
Special instructions for Windows
Rogue-rogues don't come with an installer. this makes them more of a hassle to use.
- download the one you need
- the file is a ZIP file but it will be displayed in "Windows Explorer" as a folder, do not be confused by this, it is still zipped
- you have to unzip the "kJams XXX.app" folder to the "Desktop" folder (note "XXX" means either "Lite" or "Pro" or "2")
- To unzip on XP
- go "up" one folder and select the actual zip file "kJamsXXXWin.zip"
- right click on that (it may ask about "unspecified potential security risk, you can just click "continue")
- from the context menu, pick "Extract files..."
- click the "Desktop" icon to set the "Destination Path"
- To unzip on a more normal OS (Vista, 7)
- just drag "kJams ###.app" to the desktop
- you may then throw out the zip file if you wish
- open the .app folder, and go into Contents, then into Windows
- in there you'll see "kJams XXX.exe", select that, right click, then pick "make a shortcut"
- drag the shortcut top your desktop
- close the window
- use that shortcut to launch kJams
Later (like in a week) when a new update arrives via installer, just install it like normal, then trash the .app and the shortcut from your desktop. If you go and get another rogue, without getting a new update thru the installer, then you just trash the .app folder, and replace it with the new rogue using the steps above. There is no need to create another short cut, the current one will continue to work.
Here is a Windows-only utility that will let you watch your log file as it happens, i think:
