Here's how you can get ffmpeg into your system now:


# download <googa>http://www.burningthumb.com/vcdtools.html|VCD & MPEG Tools|/downloads/ffmpeg</googa> (Make sure you get the one "for Mac OS X")
# download <googa>http://www.burningthumb.com/vcdtools.html|VCD & MPEG Tools|/downloads/ffmpeg</googa> (Make sure you get the one "for Mac OS X")
# mount the disk image (it should mount automatically, if not, double click the .dmg file)

# context click it (that is a right click or control-click) and "Show Package Contents", looks like this:<br>http://www.kjams.com/resources/context.png
# drag the application to your "Applications" folder.
# go into "/Contents/Resources/"
# find the file "ffmpeg", see it?
# drag and drop that file into /Library/Application Support/kJams/.  Note that's NOT inside your HOME folder, but at the ROOT.  if the "kJams" folder is not there then just make one.


Now you're all set, you do not need to restart kJams.  Soon i'll just make an installer.

Here's how you can get ffmpeg into your system now:

  1. download VCD & MPEG Tools (Make sure you get the one "for Mac OS X")
  2. mount the disk image (it should mount automatically, if not, double click the .dmg file)
  3. drag the application to your "Applications" folder.

That's it! You're all set, you do not need to restart kJams.
