run kJams 32bit one last time
in the help menu, pick "deactivate computer"
this will free up your license from the 32bit version, provide your license file, and further instructions
if you are on a mac (and same computer):
1. upgrade your OS from Mojave to an OS that is at least 2 revisions lower than the most up to date.
2. eg: as of the day of this writing, the latest macOS is 26. Before that was macOS 15, and before that was macOS 14.
3. that means you SHOULD upgrade your mac to at least macOS 14 (or later, later is better)
4. kJams MAY work on earlier versions, eg: macOS 13, but support may be limited
5. if your mac won't update to a supported OS, you may need to get an updated mac. Ebay has'm for cheap
if you're on a NEW computer (not the same as the one running 32bit)
1. clone your kJams folder to the new computer
now, download the 64bit edition of the kJams that you had
now follow the activation instructions
