Hyper Simple Instructions

1. run kJams
2. go to the Help menu and pick "Purchase"

To Buy the Burning Plugin:

1. Mac only: install it
2. run kJams
3. go to preferences->burning
4. click the "Purchase" button

It's Shareware

That means it's completely free to download and use! In fact I highly recommend you try it out before buying, to make sure you can rip using your CD drive, NOT ALL DRIVES ARE COMPATIBLE!

Note that the unregistered version has some limitations.

Note also kJams Lite WITH Burning is $60 (Burning plugin sold separately).

  • Burning Plugin: $20 (More Info) Burn mix discs or create pristine uncompressed copies or backups of your collection. (To burn full discs requires registered Lite or Pro application)
  • Producer Plugin: $70 (More Info) Edit the CDG graphics, use Synced text to create new karaoke graphics, add pictures.

How To purchase or Upgrade

• The Application
  
  • Download the one you want (Lite or Pro) and run it, then go to the Help menu, pick "Purchase...". Note: you do not have to **Enter the serial number.
• Upgrade from Lite to Pro
  
  • If you want to upgrade to Pro from an already purchased Lite, go Help->Upgrade, and the cost is exactly the difference between the two.
• The plugins
  
  • Mac:
    • Download the plugin you want and install it. If kJams was running then quit it, then run kJams.
  • Windows:
    • The Producer plugin is not yet available.
    • You do not need to download the Burning plugin, as the plugin itself is built in. However it is still sold separately.
  • To buy a plugin, just go to Preferences and look for it's preference panel, and select it. Now you can click the "Purchase" button.
  • If you're going to buy the Burning plugin, first do a burn test with just a couple songs to make sure it works for you. When you have verified that it works, THEN buy it.

If you are doing humanitarian work (providing free shows for people in need), are in the Military (on active duty, doing shows for your troop mates), work in a Prison (doing free shows for inmates) or Hospital (music is healing!): 100% off (Free)
All others: Site Licensing Available: for every 4 copies, 5th is free.
