What happens when you subscribe to kJams
A kJams subscription license pays for the software and technical support.
Patreon is optional extra support if you want to help fund development and spread the love.
You do not need to keep both. When you subscribe directly through kJams, your subscription replaces the usual Patreon supporter pledge for your edition.

If your pledge matches the usual Lite supporter amount ($6 / month), please cancel that pledge when you subscribe—the subscription replaces it.
