Paddle is the new eCommerce "Shopping Cart" that kJams uses to enable users to make purchases, create and manage subscriptions, and handle licensing and serial numbers.
On Mac, Paddle requires macOS 10.10 or better to function.
On Windows: it currently requires .Net3.5, but will soon require .Net4.0
How to help test this
Interested in helping to test this? Here's how:
- ensure your kJams runs in Licensed mode (ie: NOT in Tryout mode)
- go to this page to get the special version of kJams
- Take a video with your phone: start recording but please: hold your phone SIDEWAYS please, NOT vertical
- launch kJams
- narrate what you’re doing, anything you're surprised or confused by.
- send me the resulting video via email
everything should be all automatic: what should happen is kJams will walk you through the automatic and free conversion to the new licensing system.

If everything works, you can just keep using that version
if it FAILS to work for you for some reason, just uninstall it, then reinstall the latest version from here.
