You got here in case you think you need to enter a serial number, or that you need to download it after you purchase.  You do not have to do that.

# find your serial number (license key) from your receipt email, and copy it
# run or switch to kJams

* When you run kJams and go Help->Purchase, the first thing you see is this:<br>

After you make the purchase, you will be presented with a “Receipt Window”.  Do not attempt
# Find your plugin serial number (license key) from your receipt email
to print it with the “Print” button, it may crash.  If you need to, just take a screen shot
# run or switch to kJams
(cmd-shift-4).  You should just *close* this window, you will get a copy in your email.  Do
# go to the Menu bar and pick "kJams->Preferences"
NOT minimize it.  Only by *closing* this window will the software automatically self
# click the preferences panel for your plugin (Burner or Producer)
register, in other words, it will enter your serial number for you.
# Click the "Enter Serial Number" button

* DID you follow the instructions to CLOSE THE RECEIPT WINDOW?
* when you closed the receipt window, did you see this?
You have successfully activated kJams!  All features are now fully functional.  You will
shortly receive an email receipt, please keep a backup of this, since it will contain your
serial number, in case you need to reinstall.

* Did you instead *hide* the receipt window or minimize it?  (hint: no!! no you didn't!  you clicked the red "close" button instead!)
* if you did all the right things, there is nothing else to do, you're done.  you don't enter the SN, and you don't need to download anything because you can't possibly buy kJams unless it's already downloaded.
==All Else Fails==
Just run, go to the Help menu and pick "Enter Serial Number" and paste your serial number (DO NOT TYPE IT!)

To Activate your kJams Application

  1. find your serial number (license key) from your receipt email, and copy it
  2. run or switch to kJams
  3. go to the menu bar, pick "Help->Enter Serial Number"
  4. paste (command/ctrl-V) and hit OK.

To Activate your Plugin(s)

  1. Find your plugin serial number (license key) from your receipt email
  2. run or switch to kJams
  3. go to the Menu bar and pick "kJams->Preferences"
  4. click the preferences panel for your plugin (Burner or Producer)
  5. Click the "Enter Serial Number" button
  6. paste (command/ctrl-V) and hit OK.
