Here’s what you can do with your video display. You can:

  • Resize the window by clicking and dragging the frame (just like you do with other applications)
  • Put it on an External Monitor or TV
  • Make it full screen (command zero, or double click it)
(To exit full-screen, just click anywhere on the screen.)
  • Make the video window Transparent, so you can put pictures or even movies behind the video window. There's even a script to automate it! davequestion: kJams Pro only?
  • Play QuickTime movies, including MPEG1 and MPEG2 (although you need some plugins for that).
  • Use Messenger Temp to display your own messages as a crawl under the regular video. If you have kJams Pro, you can also use ShowScreen Messages to communicate full-screen messages (such as, On a Break!).
  • Display video in three places are once:
One→Your monitor displays kJams, allowing you to control the show.
Two→The audience’s monitor shows only the song lyrics and graphics (plus any messages you want to send).
Three→Your monitor also shows an Artwork Panel, which is a miniature version of what the audience sees.
