CouldntGetRequiredComponent: Difference between revisions

if you're getting this error, first, make sure you're on the very latest kJams.

If you're still getting the error, do these steps:

run kjams
go to the Help menu, pick "reveal preferences"
quit kJams
delete the kjams app from your hard drive (delete ONLY the app itself, nothing else) empty the trash
in the folder that was revealed by kJams, delete the folders "import" and "export", NOTHING ELSE
download kjams again
unzip it and drag it to your Applications folder, delete the zip file
run kjams
preferences->exporting
make sure your codec and preset are correct, hit OK
export like normal

If you do all this it should work.
