There’s no problem purchasing karaoke music from other websites or downloading free music files. However, when you download from other websites, you do not download directly into the kJams library. Rather, you download to your hard drive (usually the "Downloads" folder.

Once you've downloaded the files, use the Add To Library function, then when kJams asks to "Move" or "Reference", pick "Move".

Downloading Sample Songs

Sample songs that you download during installation are handled similarly. You first download them, and then you do "Add to Library" them into kJams (again, picking "move").

Meta Data

When you download music files from outside of kJams, you might find that your meta data is incomplete or messed up. If this is the case, click here for help. Fixing Tags Temps
