well, certainly put your extraneous files into a folder, yes, and put that into the "kJams" folder
but you should not manually place anything inside the "kJams Music" folder. i realize that's confusing, here's an explanation:

no, kjams never did this. in the past kjams would only ever *reference* the files you told it about via "Add to Library" (which is the same as drag-and-drop).

"Reference" means the files are left right where they are, they are not moved, but merely *indexed* in place. their meta-data appears in the kJams application, but the files themselves live right where you put them, they're not moved.
